CLASS THREE

****SILLY SQUAD SUMMER READING CHALLENGE*****

If you fancy an extra challenge over the next few weeks have a look at this year's 'Summer Reading Challenge' on the 'Let's Have Some Fun' page.

You might also like to have a go at the Oldham Library Story Writing Competition:

"Help us celebrate this years Silly Squad Summer Reading Challenge by entering our very own silly stories writing competition. In 500-words or fewer, write a  story about a silly adventure to the library.  The sillier the better! The story must include these three things: a book; an animal of your choice; and a banana. We can’t wait to see what amazing adventures you come up with. Submit your entries by emailing them to katie.maden@oldham.gov.uk by Tuesday 30 June. When submitting your entries please provide your name, age and school, as well as contact details. The winners will have their stories read live on Oldham Libraries Facebook page."

Monday 1st June

Hi everyone in Class 3!

We are going to try a new way of posting work for you to do this week. We are going to move onto a Virtual Learning Platform -called Scoolio. Over the next two days Mrs Rosebury will e mail you your password and username you will need to access Scoolio. We will be able to post your work and you will be able to show us what you have done- so we can make sure you are all doing ok. I hope it will give us a chance to have a little chat  so we make sure you are all ok and the work we are setting is right for you. In the meantime, while you are waiting for your login details, have a go at the 'Summer Activity' booklets below - there's one for Maths and one for English. You can print the booklets out if you want to, but they do contain lots of activities where you can write out the answers (in your very best handwriting!) in your 'home-learning' booklet too.

Keep safe everyone
